Boca Raton, FL – Boca Raton Football Club will begin its 2016 APSL title defense on May 15 as the club travels to Pompano Beach to face South Florida FC.
The defending APSL Champions will play three road games before making their way home for a Finals rematch versus Uruguay Kendall FC on June 11 at 6pm at Boca Raton High School Stadium, The Shipyard.
Boca Raton FC (10W-0T-1L in 2015) will play each opponent once, and will play three home matches and four away during the 2015 APSL season.
Home games for Boca Raton will be on June 11, June 25, and July 9 versus Uruguay Kendall FC, Miami Dade FC, and Hurricanes FC respectively.
“The 2016 schedule will be challenging,” Boca Raton FC head coach Marcelo Castillo said. “The team looks forward to the new challenges ahead. Our number 1 goal is to be in the playoffs.”
The three-week playoff will begin on July 17 and the top two seeds will automatically earn a spot in the Semifinals that will take place on July 24, the APSL Finals is set for August 7.
“Our goal is to repeat,” added Castillo. “We have our core players returning from our 2015 Championship and we believe we have the chance to do it again this season.”
