Boca Raton, FL – Former Team Boca youth player, Eddie Otaegui, has joined Boca Raton Football Club for the 2015 American Premier Soccer League season.

Otaegui joins Boca FC from PDL-side Floridians FC.

The 3-time State Champ with Team Boca will play once again with C.J. Phelps, whom the club announced on Tuesday.

“Eddie is great,” says Phelps. “We played together back with GunStorms and to once again link up with him will be a tremendous opportunity.”

Although the club is new, the relationships with players and coaches are one of the main reasons Otaegui joined the team.

“I’ve played under Coach Castillo for a combined 10 years when you add Boca High, and Gunstorms,” says the 24-year old. “He knows exactly what he’s doing, he’s a fantastic motivator and know exactly how to get the result he needs from his team.”

Although Boca Raton FC is an expansion team in the ASPL, morale at the club is high.

“Honestly, we can win the championship,” said a confident Otaegui. “Most of the team has played together in the past and the chemistry is there, it’s just a matter of getting the ball rolling.”

Boca Raton FC opens up their inaugural 2015 APSL season on May 1 at Boca Raton HS Stadium. For tickets, go to www.bocaratonfc.com/tickets or call 561-910-4336.
