Boca Raton, FL — Boca Raton Football Club is pleased to announce that Shadi Harb, who captained the club’s inaugural National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) season, has returned for his third season with the club.
Harb played in nine contests in the 2017 NPSL Season and recorded two goals while playing 701 minutes, the third-highest average last season.
“Shadi is a team player, and a competitor,” says team president Douglas Heizer. “He is one of the longest-tenured Boca Raton FC players and we are excited to have him continue his career in Boca Blue.”
A youth academy product of Independiente Santa Fe, of the Colombian first division, Harb played with the club until he turned professional in 2005.
Since then, Harb has played for America de Cali, Fortaleza FC, and Cienciano of the Peruvian Second Division.
“I’m excited about the upcoming season. I feel happy I can still do what I love and to represent an organization such as Boca Raton FC,” said Harb. “I’m definitely looking forward to getting back in the field and keep working hard to meet the team’s goals for the upcoming season.”
Throughout his three-year career at Boca Raton FC, Harb has played in over 66 matches overall between the American Premier Soccer League, Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and NPSL.
