Andrew Ross
As the General Manager of Florida Tropics Soccer Club, Andrew Ross oversees the operation of the companies nine entities, the Florida Tropics of the Major Arena Soccer League, Lakeland Tropics of the USL League Two, Florida Tropics Women’s of the WPSL, Tropics SC of the UPSL, Tropics Adult League, Lakeland Tropics FC Youth, PCU Tropics Youth, and Celebration Tropics Youth.
Prior to the Tropics, Ross worked as a Premium Account Executive for Orlando City Soccer Club in their first two Major League Soccer season’s. In the early stages of his career, he worked as a the Executive Assistant to the VP of Operation at USL (United Soccer League), and a Account Executive, Corporate Partnership for the Syracuse Silver Knights of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
Ross has over 15 years experience playing the beautiful game and now 7+ years experience coaching in addition to his business background. Ross have served as a coach/trainer for Lakeland Tropics Youth Club, Syracuse Pro Sports, LLC, as well as at XL Soccer World Orlando. Ross serves on the advisory board for Keiser University’s Business School in Lakeland, as well as on the board for EMERGE Lakeland, a group for young entrepreneurs and business owners. He has a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the David B. Falk College of Human and Sport Dynamics at Syracuse University. Ross currently lives in Tampa, FL with his girlfriend Kimberlee.
