Boca Raton, FL – It was announced earlier today that U23 Canadian National Sean Hart has joined Boca Raton Football Club for the 2015 American Premier Soccer League season.

Hart, a former Florida Atlantic University soccer player, joins Boca Raton FC after stints with the Canadian U23 squad as well as Orlando City’s U23, and Shultz Academy.

“I have seen Sean grow and develop from his days as a youth player here in South Florida,” says head coach/general manager, Marcelo Castillo. “From being part of the Canadian U23 team, Sean will bring experience, speed, and a very strong soccer IQ to our club.”

The 23-year old center back will be one of the last line of defense for coach Castillo as he and the club look ahead to a the 2015 season.

“We will be looking to him to shore up our defensive unit,” added Castillo. “He’s very tough to beat in the air and he normally wins most of his aerial battles.”

“I’m very excited to be a part of this team,” says Hart. “Marcello and the rest of the coaching staff have been nothing but professional with the group and the guys have fantastic chemistry.”

Hart will be part of a strong backline that features players like Stefano Bontempo, and Nickardo Blake.
